FAQ ABOUT LYL KRILL OIL

The cells of the human body require Omega-3 fatty acids all year round throughout one’s lifetime, and are equally important for women, men and children, because the nutritional requirements of the cells, including Omega-3 fatty acids, are similar for everybody.

Food is a poor source of Omega-3; that is why more of these fatty acids should be taken in the form of food supplements. LYL Krill oil is the purest and most effective source of Omega-3 that we know.

Depending on the season, doctor’s recommendations, or necessity, you can take additional Omega-3 with LYL Krill oil WINTER which contains vitamin D3, or LYL Krill oil B ACTIV which contains the most important B vitamins.

Fats are necessary for the development of the brain, eye sight, and immune system. Fats constitute 60% of brain tissue. Infants receive valuable Omega-3 fatty acids via mother’s milk, subsequently their intake can be ensured by a well-planned diet rich in fish, which a lot of children do not like due to the specific taste or allergies.

LYL Krill oil KID contains Omega-3 fatty acids, so necessary for the development of the brain, which are enriched with vitamin D and available in easy-to-use capsules.

Paediatricians remind us that an intake of extra vitamin D is very important for children, in order for their bones and teeth to develop normally and remain healthy. Vitamin D also strengthens the immune system. LYL Krill oil KID is Omega-3 in its most perfect form: enriched with vitamin D, especially for children.

The Riga Stradiņš University Faculty of Rehabilitation’s Nutrition programme 2011 – 2012 research “The Role of Nutrients in the Development of Bone Diseases” states that out of 197 children’s blood samples, only 33% have normal levels of calcium and vitamin D. 67% of children are in the potential risk group for bone diseases.

Fish oil contains Omega-3 fatty acids in triglyceride form, whereas in krill oil fatty acids are connected to marine phospholipids. The difference in the formula can be observed even at home by dissolving a capsule of krill oil in a glass of water and a capsule of fish oil in another.

The phospholipid-rich krill oil capsule will dissolve in the water, while the content of the fish oil capsule, rich in triglycerides, will float on the water surface.

Because of this, taking LYL Krill oil is never followed by belching, as the contents of the capsule immediately dissolve in the stomach and mix with its contents. Phospholipids are also found in the membrane of every human cell, cohabiting with both the water- and fat-friendly parts of the cell.

That is why many more krill oil phospholipids end up in the membrane of a cell than fish oil triglycerides. Compared with fish oil, Omega-3 fatty acids in the form of marine phospholipids are more easily recognised by human body cells, which is why the beneficial effect of Omega-3 fatty acids is indisputable.

LYL Krill oil FISH is a perfect combination of fish and krill oils: the phospholipids which are a part of krill oil ensure the fatty acids of the anchovy oil get absorbed by the cells.

Compared to fish oil, there are less Omega-3 fatty acids in LYL Krill oil. At the same time, krill oil supplies cells with these fatty acids much more effectively, because they are in the form of phospholipids.

LYL Krill oil’s Omega-3 fatty acids decrease the symptoms of arthritis, chronic inflammation, stiffness and various functional disorders, as well as the level of triglycerides in the blood.

Taken regularly, LYL Krill oil maintains a high Omega-3 index in the heart, thus decreasing the risk of cardiovascular disease, normalises blood pressure, and significantly decreases cholesterol levels. LYL Krill oil supports the immune system and develops resistance against diseases.

Omega-3 improves the health of skin, hair and nails, and slows the aging process. It improves metabolism, optimises body weight and prevents obesity, and improves the function of the mind as well as concentration. Most importantly, it improves the sense of wellbeing and increases vitality.

The cells of the human body require Omega-3 fatty acids all year round throughout one’s lifetime. Fish should also be eaten all year round for this very reason, as it is rich in Omega-3 fatty acids.

They are equally important for women, men and children, because the nutritional requirements of the cells, including Omega-3 fatty acids, are similar for everybody.

Food is a poor source of Omega-3; that is why more of these fatty acids should be taken in the form of food supplements. LYL Krill oil is the purest and most effective source of Omega-3 that we know.

The same can be said of LYL Krill oil WINTER, which contains extra vitamin D, as in our climate a shortage of vitamin D is common even in warm summer months.

It is especially important to take LYL Krill oil during the second and third trimester of pregnancy, when the baby’s central nervous system, including the brain and eye sight, is developing: LYL Krill oil significantly increases the level of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and ensures its typical structure.

You will find detailed information regarding the significance of Omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin D, and vitamin B during pregnancy in the section “Research and Expert Opinions”.

If your skin is pale, you feel fatigued and lack focus, you experience headaches and confusion, then folate (B9)-deficiency anaemia has snuck up on you. Fatigue, tiredness, insomnia, and headaches: these might be the first symptoms that your body uses to signal a deficiency of vitamin B. The body cannot produce a sufficient amount of red blood cells due to a lack of folic acid.

The body creates no reserves of folic acid: everything unnecessary leaves the body with the urine, and for the folic acid levels to be normal, folic acid needs to be consumed daily.

LYL Krill oil B ACTIV contains Omega-3 fatty acids of pure origin, enriched with six of the most necessary B vitamins.

Dutch scientists have conducted interesting research, seeking to explain children’s tearfulness with insufficient nutrition. Babies of mothers whose vitamin B12 level has been low during pregnancy are hearty criers. Due to a lack of vitamin B12 the baby’s nervous system is not fully developed at birth, and the level of sleep hormone is also lower.

Vitamin B12 also ensures normal cell division process, preventing anaemia, and reduces oxidative stress in the mother’s body. A high level of oxidative stress is a great risk for premature labour, pre-eclampsia, and miscarriage[1].

LYL Krill oil B ACTIV contains Omega-3 fatty acids, as well as the most important group B vitamins: B2, B4, B6, B7, B9 and B12, which are all necessary both for mother and foetus. Take care of the health of your baby’s nervous system by taking LYL Krill oil B ACTIV throughout your pregnancy!

FAQ ABOUT LYL ASTAXANTHIN

LYL ASTAXANthin is a dietary supplement complex containing the most popular antioxidants – 4 mg of the most powerful antioxidant found in nature – astaxanthin and a substantial amount of vitamins E and C. This combination of antioxidants is supplemented with the valuable vitamin B12.

LYL ASTAXANthin wins the battle against modern disease! The main function of astaxanthin, which is the main ingredient in LYL ASTAXANthin, is to curtail “overpopulation” of free radicals in the body.

Astaxanthin is more powerful than any other antioxidant, because it protects both sides of the cell membrane from damage caused by free radicals.

Furthermore, due to the nature of its molecule, astaxanthin can penetrate tissue that is inaccessible for other antioxidants, including eye and brain tissue.
Thus these cells are protected against the effects of harmful molecules.

Astaxanthin is recommended for preventing disease and improving health of skin, vision, the brain, the cardiovascular system and joints.

This dietary supplement is recommended for anyone whose daily intake of fruit and vegetables is less than 500 g. Improvements can be seen after supplementing just 2 mg astaxanthin, which is only half of the amount in 1 capsule of LYL ASTAXANthin.

It is best to take the LYL ASTAXANthin capsule with food that has at least some fat content (boiled eggs, meat, whole milk products, nuts, seeds, chocolate) or in combination with another dietary supplement that contains fats, such as LYL Krill Oil products.

The fats in food or the phospholipids in the krill oil ensure that the astaxanthin is fully absorbed in the body.

Astaxanthin has been named the strongest substance in the anti-aging industry worth billions.

It is an antioxidant whose effect on aging processes is many times more powerful than that of vitamins E and C, which are the traditional components in cosmetics.

LYL ASTAXANthin improves skin moisture and elasticity, reduces age spots and “crow’s feet”.
Specialists attribute the reduction of wrinkles to astaxanthin’s special ability to promote regeneration of collagen fibres.

The UV radiation in a sunbed is up to 15 times greater than that received from the harmful afternoon sun. That is why many lotions used at tanning studios include antioxidants.

Astaxanthin has been found to have the most potent antioxidative effect. Astaxanthin is sometimes called “the natural sunscreen”.

For sunbed users LYL ASTAXANthin significantly delays aging of the skin and reduces risk of skin cancer as it delays onset of redness. Even in cases when it is already too late and the skin has been sunburnt,

LYL ASTAXANthin aids quicker recovery. LYL ASTAXANthin is especially recommended for young sunbed users, who have the highest risk of contracting skin cancer.

We recommend not to use or to discontinue use of this product in case of sensitivity to algae products or carotenoids similar to astaxanthin, including canthaxanthin.

It is not necessary to use more than the recommended daily dose. Studies have concluded that the indicated efficient daily dose is 4-8 mg.

Because astaxanthin is a fat soluble carotenoid, higher dosage over time can lead to yellowing of the epithelium of the skin, just like from drinking too much carrot juice.

4 mg of astaxanthin or 1 capsule of LYL ASTAXANthin is enough.

FAQ ABOUT LYL BIOTIC

Prebiotics are a dietary fiber – mainly inulin and its by-products oligofructose and galactooligosaccharides. Products that contain both of these bioactive compounds are called synbiotics. For example, lactobacillales and bifidobacteria together with inulin. Prebiotics feed the probiotics in the gastrointestinal tract, promote their growth and activity and are therefore beneficial for health. Unlike fructooligosaccharides (FOS), which are another often used prebiotic, inulin is favored only by good bacteria. FOS also feeds several species of bad bacteria that can cause bloating and flatulence. Inulin works in synergy with probiotics, meaning that they promote each other’s positive effects. Indirectly it helps prevent diarrhea and constipation, improves gut metabolism, prevents tumor formation, promotes fat metabolism, attracts minerals to the intestinal walls, promotes immunity. It is more efficient to use prebiotics together with probiotics (synbiotics), because they will have an intense symbiotic effect within the body.

Instead of milligrams or grams probiotic bacteria are usually measured in colony forming units. Milligrams or grams of bacteria do not reflect the efficiency of the product. The amount of colony forming units reflects the microbiological potential of the probiotic product, i.e. the amount of viable bacteria in the sample. The effects depend on the amount of bacteria included.

One species alone cannot perform the functions of all other species, although there is certain overlap. Bacteria have different places of adhesion in the gut. For example, lactic acid bacteria are most active in the small intestine, while bifidobacteria work best in the large intestine. Some bacteria like to form colonies on the intestinal wall, while others, such as Saccharomyces boulardii, attach themselves to nutrients in the intestinal tract. The more diverse the bacteria in the product, the more comprehensive its effect and benefits. In other words – what’s good for diarrhoea, isn’t good for immunity.
*Lactobacillus reuteri: Lactobacillus – genus, reuteri – species.

The product does not need to be refrigerated. They type of capsule used and its manufacturing technology ensure that the product can be stored at a temperature of 15 – 25 °C. It should be stored in a dry place, at a temperature not exceeding +25 °C.

In order to guarantee that the contents of LYLBIOTIC reach the intestines, the product is packaged in capsules. EMBO CAPS Acid Protection® is a unique, patented plant-based capsule material that protects the bacterial cultures from adverse external effects during storage, as well as from gastric acid upon ingestion. The bacteria are activated only when they reach the intestinal tract.

There are more than 50 species of lactobacteria. They are naturally found in the gastrointestinal tract and the urogenital system. Lactobacteria are used in the prevention and treatment of various diseases and conditions. LYLBIOTIC contains 5 lactic acid bacteria, which have been officially recognized as probiotics: Lactobacillus reuteri, Lactobacillus casei, Lactobacillus gasseri, Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactobacillus rhamnosus.
They are effective in the treatment of fungal infections, bacterial vaginosis, urinary tract infections, irritable bowel syndrome, antibiotic-induced diarrhea, traveler’s diarrhea, diarrhea induced by Clostridium difficile, lactose (milk sugar) intolerance, skin conditions (eczema, acne, ulcers), respiratory infections.

So far, 30 species of bifidobacteria have been discovered. Bifidobacteria are the predominant species of good bacteria in the large intestine. They appear in the intestines immediately after birth, and are especially prolific in case of natural childbirth (without a Cesarean section) and if the infant is breast-fed. LYLBIOTIC contains three bifidobacteria, which are all recognized as probiotics: Bifidobacterium lactis, Bifidobacterium infantis, Bifidobacterium longum. They can improve blood lipid levels and glucose tolerance, reduce symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome, such as pain, discomfort, abdominal bloating and other gastrointestinal function disruptions.
